Sunday Day Tripping

Last Sunday was a scorcher so we decided to get out of LA and see some good old country roads. We headed up the CA-14 towards the Sierra Pelona Mountains and made a quick stop at a dilapidated barn house off the freeway in the middle of nowhere.  Next stop was the Vasquez Rocks Park where the San Andreas fault line has created really cool mass rock formations. We stopped there, took a leisurely walk, climbed some rocks, and took some pix of the beautiful terrain.  Lastly we stopped at an odd little antique store called Antiques At The Barn in Lancaster. It was full of scary dead animals and creepy little vintage dolls.
